Carol L. Vander Meer

Carol Lynn Vander Meer (DeGood), age 64, of Sparta, Michigan was called to be with her Savior on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. Carol was born August 21, 1958 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of Royce and Lucy (Holden) DeGood. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Dave; her children, Amy (Wendell) Hayden; Jesse (LaNita) Vander Meer; Ruthanne (Brian) Brinks; and Melissa (Aaron) Frick; her 13 precious grandchildren; one great granddaughter; her dear brother, Jerry DeGood and sister Darlene (Josh) Sobczak. Yet in their grief they take great comfort and hope in the resurrecting power of Jesus Christ. The family will host a visitation on Friday, March 17 from 6:30 to 8 pm at Rockford Springs Community Church, 5815 14 Mile Road, Rockford where the service to glorify God will be held Saturday, March 18 at 11:00 am. Visitation will begin Saturday 10:00 am. The Rev. Shaun Furniss will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rockford Springs Community Church, Hope Restored or Beautiful You By Profile.
