Carol Lee Shick

Carol Lee Shick age 88 of Sand Lake, died Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at her daughter’s home in Baldwin. She was born September 10, 1936 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of Walter and Cora (Yahnke) Durkin. She enjoyed knitting, reading and gardening. Everyone loved her strawberry jam. She was a loving mother and grandmother with a passion for her family. Surviving are her children, Michael (Cynthia) Shick, Patrick (Sue) Shick, Shannon (Michael) Silva, Wendy (Brian) Bradley; 12 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, William in 2023; son, Jeff Shick and daughter-in-law, Cheri Shick. A private family graveside service will be held at Sand Lake Cemetery.
