Carol Anne Nagy

Carol Anne Nagy, 72 of Sand Lake, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus. Carol was born December 7, 1940 in Grandville, MI the daughter of Casey and Jeanne (Bruggema) Dreyer. She was a faithful supporter of Tri-County Schools athletics, especially wrestling. She was a member of the Sand Lake Secret Pals and loved her grandchildren dearly. Surviving are her husband, Richard whom she married on October 6, 1962; children, Rick (Jeanne) Nagy of Sand Lake, Christine (Brian) Westra of Coopersville; grandchildren, Mark (Emily), Bekah, Sam, Libby, Leah and Joseph Nagy, Stephanie and Austin Gould; mother, Jeanne Dreyer; brothers, Kenneth (Rose) Dreyer, Ron (Joan) Dreyer; brother and sisters-in-law, Tom (Sandy) Nagy, Beth Hamilton, Marylyn Matofel; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Casey Dreyer. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, 13603 Northland Dr., Cedar Springs. The service will be held Thursday 11:00 am at Grant Christian Reformed Church, 13110 Poplar, Grant. Pastor Adam Nordyke officiating. Interment Pierson Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Tri-County Schools Wrestling Program.
