Carol L. Foley

Carol Lynn Foley, age 76 of Cedar Springs, died Thursday, October 15, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 14, 1950 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Carl and Eleanor (Baragar) Gordon. Carol enjoyed the simple things in life. Putting together puzzles, listening to music and she was an avid reader. She loved to cheer on the Detroit Lions and Oregon Ducks. Her Sundays were filled with good food and watching NASCAR with Walter and many friends. She will be missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by her sons, Charlie Pat Foley, Joe (Kelly) Foley; stepson, Crisstofer Smith and his family; grandchildren, Joey Foley, Ethan Foley, Trevor Ross, Charles Jacob Foley, Gretchen Foley; siblings, Dennis (Dar) Gordon, Nora (Mark) Bourgoin, Kathleen Reintges, Sue (Lee) Rietsma; best friend, Judy Schmidt; several nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; life partner, Walter Smith; and seven siblings.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
