Carol R. Bishop

Carol Ruth Bishop age 76 of Hanoverton, OH formerly of Cedar Springs died Monday, February 5, 2024 in Pittsburgh, PA. She was born November 22, 1947 in St. Clair, MI the daughter of Adrian and Clara Bishop. Carol and her sister, Mer started Bishop Adult Foster Care Home and worked there until 2020. Carol and Mer took many mission trips to Haiti and enjoyed passing out pennies and tootsie rolls to the children. Surviving are her son, William (Rhonda Wittenmyer) Bishop; grandchildren, Collin, Avery, Alyssa, Joslyn; brothers, Paul (Sherry) Bishop, John (Sandra) Bishop, Mark (JoEllen) Bishop, Morris (Sonja) Bishop, Pete Bishop, Steve Bishop, Anthony (Stacy) Bishop, Ron Bishop; sister, Donna Austin; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Emorie Bishop, siblings, MaryEllen “Mer” Bishop, Sharon Bishop, Adrian Bishop Jr., David Bishop, William Bishop, in-laws, Walter Austin, Cheryl Bishop, nephew, Brent Bishop, nieces, Gentry Miller, Michelle Covert. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, February 13 at Pilgrim Bible Church, 361 Pine St. Cedar Springs, the family will greet friends at 10:00 am. Pastor David Ward officiating.
