Calvin L. Smith

Calvin L. Smith age 81 of Sand Lake died Saturday, August 17, 2019 at his daughter’s home. Calvin was born January 11, 1938 in St. Johns, MI, the son of Arvine and Ethyel (Davis) Smith. He loved the outdoors, hunting deer and bear and his cottage in the U.P. He was a hardworking and caring person who would help anyone. Surviving are his children, Sheila Rich, Teresa Kinsley, Steve Smith, Judi Dunmire; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Elaine; son, Clifford; 2 sisters and 1 brother. A memorial service will be held 11 am Thursday, August 29 at Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
