Brian D. Gilmer

Brian D. Gilmer age 53 of Sand Lake died Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. Brian was born November 26, 1966 in Grand Rapids MI the son of Charles and Norma (Lowell) Gilmer. He worked at American Seating for many years and enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on cars. His grandkids were his greatest joy. He is survived by the love of his life, Shelley Whitcomb; children, Jason Parcher, Jennifer (Celestino) Rubio, James (Dana) Whitcomb, Kurt Whitcomb; grandchildren, Alizabeth, Alicya, Alejandro, Adriana, Hayle, Gustavo, Rian, James Jr.; mother and stepfather, Norma (Neil) Oliver; brothers, Derek and Mike Gilmer; nephews, Jordan and Corey Gilmer; daughter-in-law, Carrie Osborn. Per Brian’s wishes cremation has taken place. The family will greet friends 2-5:00 pm Sunday, October 18 at Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
