Brian D. Chilcote

Brian D. Chilcote 59 of Cedar Springs, died Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at his home. Brian was born June 10, 1957 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Harold and Alice (Mullian) Chilcote. He was a graduate of Tri-County High School Class of 1976 and had worked for Coca Cola Refreshment in Grand Rapids for 36 years retiring October 31, 2016. He was a farmer at heart and loved all things John Deere. He enjoyed music of all kinds and loved his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Peggy; children, Andrew (Sonja), Chad and his fiancee, Kelly Ellis, Zachary and his fiancée, Steva DeJong; grandchildren, Josh, Hunter, Alexis, Kaden and Kailo; brother, Gary (Deb); sister-in-law, Shellie Chilcote; niece and nephews, Laura, Clint, Cole and Chase; Uncle Ernie and Aunt Rose Schmidt. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Tim. The family will greet friends Wednesday January 25, from 6:00 pm until time of memorial service at 7:00 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Deacon Jim Hessler officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
