Brenda D. Whipple

Brenda D. Whipple age 53 of Howard City, died Friday, September 6, 2024 at Corewell Meijer Heart Center. She was born August 15, 1971 in Lakeview, MI the daughter of Warren and Phyllis (Cooley) Curtis. She enjoyed diamond painting, kayaking and being on the water, parasailing, camping, being outdoors and loved cats. Surviving are her husband, Daniel; children, Nicholas (Morgan) Gross, Cody (Samantha) Gross, Ashley Whipple, Sara Whipple; seven grandchildren; parents, Phyllis Harris, Warren (Mildred) Curtis; sister, Rhonda (Mark) Dunn; half-brother, Robert (Nicole) DeNeff; parents-in-law, Duane (Shirley) Whipple; sister-in-law, Pamela (Terry) Harris; nephews and niece, Andrew, Christopher and Joshua Dunn, William (Kathy) Hammond, Jessica Shearer; several step brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Leland “Lee” Harris. The family will greet friends Thursday, September 12 from 6 – 8 pm at the K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs with a closing prayer at 8:00 pm.
