Bonnie S. Winter

Bonnie Sue Winter age 68 of Cedar Springs died Friday, June 9, 2023 at Boulder Creek Assisted Living. She was born June 19, 1954 in Lakeview, MI the daughter of William and Katie (Petersen) Winter. Bonnie’s greatest joy in life were her children. She loved going to all their sporting events, especially baseball and band concerts. Bonnie enjoyed playing cards and games, camping in Grand Marais, road trips, music and playing piano. She even had her builders license and built a few homes in the Cedar Springs area with her dad. Bonnie was an elementary school teacher for 38 years at Beech Elementary School in Cedar Springs. Surviving are her children, Phylisia Joy Winter, Christina Jane Winter, Trenton Joseph William Winter; siblings, Phyllis King, Linda (Ed) Braate, Rex (Carol) Winter; close family friends, Holly Hoekstra, Barb Kaminski; nieces, Kim (Marc) Huhn, Michelle Slykhouse, Carol (Chad) Custer, Kate VanVlerah, Kacee Winter; nephews, Denny (Lesley) Braate, Bill (Shantelle) Winter; many special family members. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Carol Winter. The family will greet friends 11:00 am Wednesday, June 14, at K.E.
