Blanche A. Lantz

Blanche A. Lantz, 83 of Kent City, died Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Fountain View in Grant. Mrs. Lantz was born January 8, 1926 in Hart, MI the daughter of Hugh and Merle Eva (Copenhaver) Mitchell. She was a member of Grace Bible Fellowship, a foster mother for many years, enjoyed flea markets and going to Shipshewana. Surviving are her husband, Raymond; 4 children, Sandra & Ron Brugel of Howard City, Sharon & Garth Hall of Croton, David & Theresa Lantz of Middleville, Sheila & Brian Swainston of Hopkins; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law, Jim DeJonge; brother, Larry Mitchell; sister, Donna Jennings. The family will receive friends Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, where services will be held Tuesday 11:00 am. Pastor Duaine Reichelt officiating.
