Birdie Van Dyke

Birdie Van Dyke age 95 of Sand Lake, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at her home. Birdie was born August 16, 1923 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of John and Blanch (Williams) Glenn. She worked at Fisher Body Alpine Avenue Plant for 28 years. She was very involved and active in the Pierson Bible Church and enjoyed her grandchildren. Surviving are her children, Charlene Van Dyke and John Van Dyke; grandchildren, Terry (Lisa) Van Dyke, Rusty (Michelle) Van Dyke, Tracy Van Dyke, Sonja (Mario) Hernandez; great grandchildren, Jacob, David, Avery, Joey, William, Brandon, Luke, Rachel, Jordan, Sean and Seth; sister, Elaine (John D) Lett; brother-in-law, Don (Winnie) Van Dyke. A graveside service will be held Saturday 11:00 am at Sand Lake Cemetery. Pastor Jeffrey Wallace officiating. Arrangements by Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
