Betty L. Thorington

Betty L. Thorington age 86 of Cedar Springs went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, October 28, 2024. She was born October 31, 1937 in Flint, MI the daughter of Lee and Nellie (Morrman) Haviland. She loved to cook and being a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling, being by the water and boats. Betty was a member of Cedar Springs Baptist Church. Surviving are her children, Cynthia (Robert) Beals, Debra (Robert) VanDyke, Linda (Tim) Rysdyk, Julie Mata and her fiancé, Ryan Breckon, James (Jillayne) Thorington; 16 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister, Virginia Dukes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 2011; granddaughter, Paige Mata;  brother, Don and sister, Mary.  A private family graveside will be held at East Nelson Cemetery.
