Betty L. Teesdale

Betty Lorraine Teesdale age 94 passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 23, 2025. Betty was born to Edward and Lorretta (Marble) Grice in April of 1930, she attended Sparta High School and was married for nearly 60 years to her husband, Art. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and quilting.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Dale Teesdale; infant daughter, Connie Kay Teesdale; infant son, Bruce Allan Teesdale; parents; brothers, Raymond, Robert and Gary Grice; sister, Phyllis Penland; brother-in-law, Robert Wray. She is survived by her children, Kathleen and Raymond Storey of Rockford, Steven and Ann Teesdale of Bailey, Jeffrey Teesdale and Kim Jansma of Cedar Springs; grandchildren, Jennifer Benham, Jason and Stacey Jazwinski, Christopher Jazwinski, Rebecca and Ron Riessen, Heather and Derrick Grant, Andrew and Amanda Teesdale, Matthew and Emily Teesdale, Chad Storey, Jessie and Trish Storey, and Derrick Storey; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary Wray, Vivian and Paul Mundinger, Carolyn and Jim Wheeler, Richard and Shirley Grice; sister-in-laws, Marcie Grice, Linda Grice; brother-in-law, Marshall Penland; many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of Meadowlark Retirement Village and Emmanuel Hospice for the care they provided her.

A service to celebrate Betty’s life will be held 12:00 pm, Thursday, February 27, with visitation at 11:00 am at K.E. Pike Funeral Home in Cedar Springs. Officiating, Pastor Bruce Wilson.
