Betty Lou (Bucholtz) Seabolt age 85 of Sand Lake, died Thursday, May 27, 2021 at her home. Betty was born January 3, 1936 in Dearborn, MI the daughter of Henry and Myrtle (Wagenschute) Anthony. She had worked at Woolworth, Holland American Wafer, Wurzbergs, Sand Lake Viking, Jackson Products and farming. She loved to sew, making quilts for many family members, embroidery, bowling, riding motorcycle, camping with family and doing puzzles. Surviving are a son, Karl (Joy) Bucholtz; grandchildren, Karl “Tony” (Sarah) Bucholtz Jr., Patrick (Cleone) Bucholtz, Andrew (Carrie) Bucholtz, Samantha Bolles, Lindsey (Mack) Erickson, Cody (Casie) Hawley; 22 great grandchildren; brother, George (Io) Anthony; sister, Dorothy (Don) Robbins; sisters-in-law, Sally Bucholtz and Pat Bucholtz; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Carl Bucholtz and William Seabolt; sister, Janna Mae Penny; brother, Robert Anthony; brothers-in-law, Wayne (Mina) Bucholtz, Don Bucholtz and Dean Bucholtz. The family will greet friends Tuesday, June 1 from 5-7 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The service will be Wednesday, June 2 at 2:00 pm at The Church of the Full Gospel, Sand Lake. Viewing will begin at 1:00 pm. Pastor Gary Giddings officiating. Interment Pierson Cemetery.
