Betsy M. Jolman

Betsy M. Jolman, 77 of Grand Rapids, died Monday, June 21, 2010 at Metron of Cedar Springs. Mrs. Jolman was born November 11, 1932 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of Frederick and Nellie (Guisinger) Knight. She had been employed in property management along with her late husband, Don, and together they enjoyed traveling, having been to 43 states. Surviving are four children, Dawn (Bill) Ritzenhein of Cedar Springs, Cheryl (Bert) Thompson of Grand Rapids, Karen Covey of Grand Rapids, Robert Singleton of Rochester, NY; foster daughter, Betsy (Floyd) Kuhn; stepchildren, Jim (Amy) Jolman, Cindy (Reuben) Rodriguez, Steve (Jeri) Jolman, Shari (Mark) Tolodziecki; 24 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; brother, Raymond (Peggy) Knight of Texas; sister, Clarice (Jerry) Colegrove of Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. Jolman; son, Douglass R. Singleton; brothers and sisters, Frederick “Fritz”, Robert, and John Knight, Janice Pigeon, Sarah Roloff. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, where services will be held Thursday 11:00 am. Pastor Raymond Knight officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Metron of Cedar Springs Activity Fund.
