Beth Whittaker 92 died Monday, January 23, 2017 at Heather Hills Retirement Village, Grand Rapids. Mrs. Whittaker was born May 12, 1924 in Washtenaw County, MI the daughter of Warren and Viola (Richards) Smith. Surviving are her children, Mark (Barbara) Whittaker and Mary Beth (Thomas) Cooper; three grandchildren, Ryan T. (Cheryl) Whittaker, Katelyn May (Brian) Parker and Michael Cooper; one great granddaughter, Sage; two sisters-in-law, Velma Smith and Phyllis Whittaker. She was preceded by her parents, husband, Robert in 2015; two brothers and one sister. Cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Interment in the spring in South Lyons Cemetery. Arrangements by Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
