Bert Boes

Egbert J. “Bert” Boes age 81, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025 in Coral. He was born April 23, 1943 in Allendale, MI the son of Egbert and Marie (Diepstra) Boes. Bert lived a life dedicated to the ministry of the gospel since 1973. He faithfully served at Radio Bible Class, Continental Baptist Missions, and Emmanuel Baptist Church where he dedicated 30 years of service. Bert had a heart for his family and the community of Coral. Surviving are his wife, JoAnn; children, Daniel (Carolynn) Boes, Valerie (Kevin) Gates, David (Kathy) Boes, Tracy (Michael) Morden, Dan (Lisa) Moore, Dennis (Cathy) Moore; 25 grandchildren; 56 great grandchildren; sister, Jacqueline (Thomas) Sutton. He was preceded by his first wife, Barbara in 2006; 1 brother, 4 sisters and a granddaughter. The family will greet friends Wednesday, March 19 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The service will be held Thursday 11:00 am at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 16028 Isabella Road, Coral. Pastor Chris Kaufield officiating. Interment Coral Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church.
