Bernard A. Brunges

Bernard A. Brunges 84 of Cedar Springs, died Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at his home. Bernie was born June 20, 1927 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Arthur and Edna (Howard) Brunges. He retired as a supervisor from Blackmer Pump in 1986. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, antiquing, and going to Florida. He was willing to help anyone. Surviving are his wife, Ruth; children, Bernie (Barb) Brunges, David (Vicky) Brunges, Bonnie (Gary) Tiemeyer, Brenda Davis; stepchildren, Gerald Black, Diana (Murray) Austin; 14 grandchildren; many great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. There will be no funeral service. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Cedar Springs.
