Benny Franklin Davis

Benny Franklin Davis, 74 of Grant, went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at Gerber Memorial Health Care, Fremont. Benny was born October 15, 1932 in Jackson, MI the son of Chauncy and Stella (Scott) Davis. He retired from Worlverine World Wide in Rockford after 30 years of service and had attended the Church of the Full Gospel in Sand Lake. Surviving is his wife Betty Jane, whom he married on August 23, 1957; 2 sons and their spouses, Benjamin & Joy Davis of White Cloud, Billy & Betty Lou Davis of Fremont; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, John Davis and Robert Davis; 1 sister, Carol Duley; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, Stacy; and 2 sisters. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at the Church of the Full Gospel, Sand Lake. Pastors Verta Giddings and Gary Giddings officiating. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Croton. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
