Bennie B. Wierks

Bennie B. Wierks, 78 of Rockford, died Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Advocare Assisted Living. Mr. Wierks was born August 16, 1936 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Bernard and Inez (Stafford) Wierckz. Surviving are his wife, Sharon; children, Deborah (Bruce) Kaiserlian, Rebecca (Joe) Glass, Brenda (Tim) Rood, Bennie Wierks Jr., Linda (Wayne) Olson; stepchildren, Karin (Ed) Smith, Robin (Harvey) Woodard, Kathy Duffield, Tammie (Bruce) Woodard, Terry (Brad) Woodard, Kelly (Hilary) Powell, Annette (Mike) LaPlante; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Dick (Sharon) Wierckz, Claude (Cathy) Wierckz; sister, Valerie (Chuck) Briggs. A graveside service will be held Saturday 11:00 am at Blythefield Memory Gardens, Pastor Dick Nichols officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of donor’s choice.
