Ben Sakon

Benjamin J. “Ben” Sakon, 34 of Pierson died Monday, February 18, 2008 at his home. Ben was born September 14, 1973 in Tawas City, MI the son of John and Judith (LeCureux) Sakon. He enjoyed camping, fishing, the outdoors, NASCAR, and collecting Jack Daniels memorabilia. He loved his children and they were everything to him. Surviving are his wife, Mary; 5 children, Ellissa Sakon, Samantha Sakon, Elizabeth White, Anthony Hodges, Carlton Hodges; mother, Judy (Lloyd) Selvig; father, John Sakon; brothers, Mike (Tammy) Sakon, Tim (Leeann) Sakon, Allen (Denise) Selvig, Bradley (Barb) Selvig; grandparents, Anna Sakon, Harold (Jean) LeCureux. The family will receive friends Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The funeral service will be held Saturday 11:00 am at the United Methodist Church, Cedar Springs. Pastor Brian Rafferty officiating. Interment Dorr Cemetery.
