Barbara Sue Nielsen

Barbara Sue Nielsen, 69 passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012 in Apache Junction, AZ. She was born March 4, 1943 in Sparta, MI the daughter of Louis and Rolena (Wiersma) VanderMeer. She was worked for Cedar Springs Public Schools for 25 years retiring as Transportation Supervisor. Surviving are her husband, Ronald; children, Brad (Virginia) Pennington; Craig Pennington; grandchildren, Tara, Samantha, Killi, Zachary; great granddaughter, Alaina; sisters, Sally (Paul) Gessner, Gale (William) Scott; brother-in-law, Steven Nielsen; sister-in-law, Julie Nielsen; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in Arizonia. A service will be held in Cedar Springs later in the Spring. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
