Barbara Elizabeth Neiderheide

View Photo Tribute Barbara E. Neiderheide, 46 of Sand Lake, died Thursday, March 2, 2006 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Barb was born February 26, 1960 in Detroit, MI the daughter of Frederick and Bernice (Heck) Uecker. She had worked at the Grand Rapids Press for many years and had recently started her own wholesale food business. She was a very active member of Resurrection Lutheran Church, Sand Lake where she was the Women’s Guild President, on the Church Council and sang in the Choir. She was very involved in school activities at Tri-County High School. Surviving are her husband, Ronald; 4 children, James Langell of Howard City, Daniel Langell of Sand Lake, Randall & Suzanne Neiderheide of Cedar Springs, Melissa Neiderheide of Troy; 2 granddaughters, Elizabeth and Emily; her parents, Frederick and Bernice “Bunny” Uecker of Big Rapids; a grandmother, Margaret Heck of Interlochen; 1 brother, Fred Uecker of Louisiana; 1 sister and her daughter, Britt Uecker and Lauren Hanna of Lansing; many other nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The funeral service will be held Tuesday 11:00 a.m. at Resurrection Lutheran Church, Sand Lake. Rev. Fred C. Krause officiating. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Cedar Springs.
