Barbara S. Armstrong

Barbara S. Armstrong 59 of Tampa FL, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Melech Hospice House, Tampa. Barbara was born December 9, 1953 in Lakeview, MI the daughter of Calvin and Arleita (Griffis) Fleck. She enjoyed seeing the country as a long haul produce trucker. She was very involved in her church and Sunday School and had been a volunteer at Radio Bible Class. She enjoyed life and loved her grandchildren. Surviving are her children, Tabitha (Matt) Ackerman, Jacklyn (Tom) Cato, Neil Armstrong, Brian (DeeAnna) Totten, Benjamin (Jennifer ) Totten and Brandi (Ryan) Bomberger; 5 grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Landon, Riley, Kaleigh and Catherine; mother, Arleita Fleck; sisters, Wilma (Virgil) Reed, Patricia (David) Marek and Dawn (Ray) Andrus; in-laws, Bruce and Bernice Armstrong. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Armstrong and father, Calvin Fleck. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Bliss-Witters and Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs where services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Blythefield Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Huggard Bible Church or Hillsdale Baptist Church, Tampa, FL.
