Augustus P. "Gus" Mann

Augustus P. “Gus” Mann age 68 of Newaygo died Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Mission Point of Cedar Springs. He was born June 3, 1954 in Ferndale, MI the son of Hurcus and Marion (Willett) Mann. Gus worked for North American Refractory, now called HarbisonWalker Int. Refractory for 38 years in White Cloud. He liked watching Gunsmoke and going to the casino. When able he like to golf at Village Green in Fremont. Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Vada (Van Camp); stepson, Shane (Melissa) Hawes; sisters, Margaret Bowden and Kate Mann. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Hurcus Mann. In keeping with his wishes, his body will be donated to MSU Medical School for research. Arrangements by K.E.
