Arthur Dwight Tiethoff

Arthur Dwight Tiethoff age 72 of Cedar Springs passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus. Art was born October 24, 1949 in Lakeview, MI. He worked for 34 years at General Motors retiring as an electrician. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating on the Muskegon River. Surviving are his wife, Mary Lynn (Johnson) whom he married on Nov. 20, 1970; sons, who he was very proud of, Tom (Tina) Tiethoff, Tracey (Betty) Tiethoff; grandchildren, Tamara (Dan) Schmeltzer, Allen Tiethoff, David (Lauren) Tiethoff, JoAnna Tiethoff; siblings, Ruth Ann (Harold) Kaufman, Patricia (Jerry) Rennau, John Mark Tiethoff, Jack (Anita) Tiethof, Marcia Gould, Diana (Mark) Russell; step mother, Dorothy Tiethoff. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Margaret Tiethoff. The family will greet friends Sunday, Dec. 19 from 3-5 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The service will be Monday 11:00 am at the Pilgrim Bible Church, 361 Pine St. Cedar Springs. Pastor David Ward officiating. Interment Solon Township Cemetery.
