Arretha Cole

Arretha Lou Eloise Cole age 82 of Cedar Springs passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at her home. She was born July 2, 1940 in Mondaycreek Township, Ohio the daughter of Samuel and Mary (Woltz) Poling. She loved shopping for bargains and frequented Goodwill for hours. Arretha was very artistic and craft oriented. She always had all the candy, popsicles and cookies for her grandchildren. She was a great cook and you never left her house hungry. Surviving are her children, William (Susan) Cole, Angela (Gilbert) LaBay; 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; brothers, Harvey (Maxine) Poling, Melroy Poling; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse of 59 years, William; daughter, Amanda Hansen; siblings, Adrea, Herbert, Albert, Lloyd, Irma, Donald and Mary. The family will greet friends Tuesday, September 20 from 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs where the service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday.
