Arlene H. Debruyn

Arlene H. DeBruyn 91 passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus. Mrs. DeBruyn was born February 3, 1923 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of Arlie and Lena (Arends) Buffum. She graduated from Creston High School Class of 1940. She had spent the last 40 winters in Winter Haven, FL and was an avid Detroit Tigers fan. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and golf. Surviving are her daughters, Kathy Anderson (Bob Ries), Janet Enell (Dick); 6 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis in 1998; 2 sisters and 4 brothers. The family will greet friends Monday from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at the United Methodist Church, 140 S. Main St., Cedar Springs. Pastor Steve Lindeman officiating.
