Arildean "Geri" Burgess

Arildean “Geri” Burgess 69 of Grand Rapids, died Saturday, November 5, 2016. Geri was born June 21, 1947 in Cadillac, MI the daughter of Walter and Amber (Good) Johnson. She retired from Meijer in 2011 after working in the deli for 10 years. Surviving are her children, Kenneth (Lisa) Burgess, Robin (Mark) Patterson, Karen (Nilberto) Ramirez; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Vicki) Johnson, Welden Johnson, Jerry Kiles and Rodger Kiles; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Beverly (Floyd) Olson, Shirley (Bud) Hoffman, Judith (Gerald) LaRoe, Rose Borhees; brother, Ronald Johnson. The family will greet friends Wednesday 10:00 am until time of memorial service at 11:00 am at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Chaplain Stephen Shick officiating. Interment Solon Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Spectrum Health Hospice.
