Ardella R. Crump

Ardella R. Crump, 82 of Belmont, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2006 and is now resting peacefully after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Mrs. Crump was born January 13, 1924 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of Howard and Rozella (Gibson) Opperman. She is survived by her loving and caring husband, Ralph Crump; children, Burdette & Jeanne Helenius, Sid & Nancy Helenius, Randy & Gloria Crump, Diane & Walt Dunbar, Donna Korstrange, and Linda Crump; grandchildren, Danielle, Laars, Kyle, Tara, Amanda, April, Ryan, Darren, Nikki, Charlie, and Deena; 9 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Marie Caine and the Opperman Family. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William P. Helenius and a daughter and her son-in-law, Vawn & Don Punches. Visitation will be held Thursday and Friday from 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, where the funeral service will be held Saturday 11:00 a.m. Pastor Brian Rafferty officiating. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Cedar Springs. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
