Antonio “Tony” Anderson age 70 of Cedar Springs, died Thursday, February 5, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 3, 1956 in Chicago, the son of Frank and Deborah (Williams) Anderson. Tony retired from Wrigley Company after 25 years. He had a passion for the outdoors. Tony enjoyed fishing, camping, swimming and big bonfires. He was an excellent builder and always liked to keep up on Karen’s honey-do-list. Tony enjoyed doing puzzles and was an excellent cook, whether it was BBQ, pancakes or sweet potato pie. He had a wonderful sense of humor and always had the loudest laugh in the room. Tony always thanked God for a new day and never stressed about what was out of his control. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and taking them fishing. He will be missed by all who loved him.
Tony is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Karen; children, Natasha Creal, Nashawnda Anderson, Corey Anderson, Eric (Kristin) Sczepanski, Nick Sczepanski; grandchildren, Jakara, Tony, Mikayela, Blake, Conor, Nora; great-grandchildren, Koi, Alaia; siblings, Ronald (Shirley) Williams, Patricia Anderson, Anita Anderson; cherished dog, Taz; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Big Mama; and twin sister, Tiny Anderson.
Memorial contributions may be made in Tony’s name to the Humane Society of West Michigan, 3077 Wilson Dr NW, Walker, MI 49534.
The family will greet friends 12:00 p.m., Thursday, February 12, 2026 until the service at 1:00 p.m. at K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Pastor Bruce Wilson, officiating. Interment, East Nelson Cemetery.
There will be a celebration of life in the summer.
