Anna M. Gould

Anna M. Gould 86 of Sand Lake, died Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Metron of Cedar Springs. Anna was born January 19, 1925 in Ensley Township, MI the daughter of Jacob and Mary (Bajewski) Yost. Before her husband Bill passed away they were very active volunteers for Catholic Social Services in the Senior Companion Program. Surviving are her children, John (Judy) Gould, Timothy Gould, Susan (Steve) Jones, Bill (Michelle) Gould Jr., Patricia (Mark) Peterson; 18 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; sister, Katherine Martin; sisters-in-law, Carole Yost, Winnie Yost, Dorothy Bow, Helen Nelson, Margie Dunn; brother-in-law, John Gould; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William in 2009; infant son, David; and 5 brothers. The family will receive friends Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday 11:00 am at Mary Queen of Apostles, Sand Lake with Rev. Fr. Joseph W. Kenshol celebrant. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan or the family to help with expenses.
