Amanda R. Kruse

Amanda R. Kruse, 89 of Cedar Springs, died Monday, October 11, 2010 at Spectrum Health – Butterworth Campus. Mrs. Kruse was born October 3, 1921 in Sebewaing, MI the daughter of Roman & Amillia (Stroshien) Lenz. She retired from Crittenden Hospital in Rochester, MI. She enjoyed her Cedar Springs Bridge Girls, Cedar Springs Library and the Golden Agers. Surviving are 3 children, Timothy (Charlene) Kruse of Rochester Hills, Rebecca Sue Kruse of Davisburg, Danielle (Scott) Phillips of Cedar Springs; 5 grandchildren, Carrie Fuller, Polly Morey, Brett Kruse, Zachary Phillips, Wyatt Phillips; 5 great grandchildren, Garrett, Carys, Myla, Lydia, and Cole; 2 sisters, Clara Nitz of Sebewaing, Ella Marries of Rochester Hills. She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Kruse in 1977. The family will greet friends Thursday from 2:00 pm until time of service at 3:00 pm at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Rockford. Pastor Mark Love officiating. Interment Christian Memorial Cemetery, Rochester. Arrangements by Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
