Alvin Ted Makowske

Alvin T. Makowske, 59 of the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans, died Friday, January 13, 2006. Mr. Makowske was born August 13, 1946 in Detroit, MI the son of Alvin and June (McDonald) Makowske. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force serving during Vietnam and for a total of 16 years. Surviving are 1 sister, Kathleen Paul of Hartland; 1 brother, Jeff & Debbie Makowske of Commerce Township. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12 Noon until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans. Chaplain John Poston officiating. Interment in the Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements by Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
