Alma A. Mcnees

Alma A. McNees 86 of Pierson, died Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at her home. Alma was born February 25, 1925 in Pierson Township, MI the daughter of Ernest and Ruth Paepke. Surviving are her children, David (Mary) McNees, Arlene Scott, Ruthan (Robert) Hawkins, Carol “Shorty” (Tom) Lowery, Elizabeth “Jerry” Kennedy, Carl “Sonny” (Donna) McNees, Carla Stout, Kim (Alice) McNees, Mark McNees, Paula (Ricky) Telder, Tom (Pam) McNees, Bruce (Donna) McNees, Cindy (Carl) Blohm, Diana MacKenzie; 32 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Lois Wolf, Shirley Johnson, Patsy Esbaugh. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl in 2010, 3 sons, 1 daughter, 2 grandchildren, 2 sisters and 1 brother. The family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. and Friday from 10 am until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Mr. Ross Merlington officiating. Interment Pierson Cemetery.
