Allen C. King

Allen C. King age 81 of Cedar Springs, died Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital. He was born March 26, 1943 in Sparta, MI the son of Malcolm and Caroline (Nelson) King. He worked for Cedar Springs Public Schools for many years and loved all the students he encountered. Allen enjoyed sports especially the Tigers, Lions and MSU. He liked spending time with his family and other relatives sharing stories and everyone savored his weekly cookie baking.

He is survived by his loving wife, Louise; children, Scott (Wendy) King, Chris (Pam) King; grandchildren, Jacob, Elijah and Tyler; brothers, Paul (Kathy) King, Doug (Beth) King. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Almena Bowers.

The family will greet friends at Algoma Baptist Church 10515 Grange Ave. NE, Rockford on Saturday, August 24 at 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Pastor David Fernlund officiating. Memorial contributions to Algoma Baptist Church. Arrangements by K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
