Allen J. Eady

Allen J. Eady, 66 of Cedar Springs, died Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Spectrum Health – United Memorial Campus, Greenville. Allen was born March 18, 1948 in Hudson, MI the son of Wayne and Dorothy (Barron) Eady. When he was younger he was a boy scout and had graduated Hudson High School where he was a star basketball player. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, restoring his truck, antiques, NASCAR, woodworking, gardening and tinkering. He was a member of the Hillsdale Moose Lodge and the SAL. Surviving are his wife, Linda (Thorp); children, Jody (Bill) Higgins, Allen Jason Eady; grandchildren, Ellie Colvin, Rachel, Roger, and Richard Beach, Reigan Luft, Shy’anne Seabolt, Michael Seabolt; great grandchildren, Jazlynn, Natalynn, Ryen, Michael and Rorie; mother, Dorothy Eady; brother, Richard (Cathy) Eady. He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Eady; daughter, Debbie; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and John Colvin; aunt and uncle, Jean and Tom Harvey; in-laws, Varion and Cema Thorp. A graveside service will be held Friday 2:00 pm at Maple Grove Cemetery, Hudson. Arrangements by Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
