Allan L. Kebless age 88 of Greenville, passed away Thursday December 4, 2025 at Corewell Health Butterworth Campus. He was born October 14, 1937 in Passaic, NJ, the son of the late Alexander and Sophie (Jastrzbski) Kebless. Al served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1956 – 62. He was a 50 year member of the Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 174 and the Greenville American Legion #101. He was a volunteer firefighter and paramedic in Port Morris, NJ and played Smokey Bear at schools promoting fire safety. He enjoyed playing the saxophone, sailing and camping. He played in the Rockford Community Band, Danish Festival Band and the Motorhome Band Frustrated Maestros. He was a former member of Oakfield Baptist Church and an active member of Magnify Church, Rockford. Surviving are his wife, Joyce who he married on July 27, 1957; children, Alan (Pamela) Kebless, Laureen (Daniel) Hoskins; grandchildren, Sonja (Alexander Ruiz-Mora) Kebless, Joanna (Taylor) Kerby, Hannah (Michael) Hard, Jacob (Sara) Hoskins, Isaac Hoskins; great grandchildren, Jaymeson, Jesse and Caleb; sister, Patricia Meredith; nieces and nephews. The family will greet friends Wednesday, December 17 from 4 – 6 pm at the K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The funeral will be Thursday, December 18 at 11:00 am at Magnify Church, 6727 Kuttshill Dr. Rockford. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Pastor Louie Konopka officiating. Interment Ft. Custer National Cemetery, Augusta. Memorial contributions may be made to Algoma Christian School.
