Alice E. Chilcote

Alice E. Chilcote, 87 of Comstock Park, formerly of Sand Lake, died Tuesday, November 2, 2010. Mrs. Chilcote was born March 1, 1923 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of Charles and Mary (Kurkjian) Mullian. She had worked at Western Union during the war and later at Wolverine World Wide in Rockford. Surviving are 2 sons, Gary (Debra Stanislawski) Chilcote, Brian (Peggy) Chilcote; daughter-in-law, Shellie Chilcote; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Rosemary (Ernest) Schmidt; brother, Michael (Queenie) Mullian; 5 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold in 1985 and a son, Timothy in 2009. The family will greet friends Saturday from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Rev. Fr. John English officiating. Interment Sand Lake Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer or Heart Associations.
