Alice Pearl Brown

Alice P. Brown age 65 of Sparta died Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at her home. Alice was born December 23, 1954 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of Peter and Bessie (Hewartson) Brown Sr. She loved her pets, cats, birds and horses. She enjoyed crafting which she learned from her mother, including sewing, embroidery, knitting, crocheting, and cross stitch. She loved her grandchildren with all her heart and going to the casino. Surviving are her daughters, Dodie (John) Lowis, Jodie (Ed) Rittersdorf, Lyn (Mike) Hollister; grandchildren, Tessa, Ashleigh, Tyler, Caiden, Paige, Shelbie, Makenzie, Colton; great grandchildren, Trenton, Jaxxon, Wesley, Aiden; father of her children, Rich (Jeanie) May; special friend, Rick Chichester; extended children and grandchildren; brothers, Ed (Connie) Brown, Al Brown; many nieces and nephews. A private family visitation will be held at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Interment will take place in Solon Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Nephrology Unit.
