Alan "Skip" A. York

Allen “Skip” York age 80 of Howard City died Saturday, April 20, 2019 at home with his family. Skip was born December 10, 1938 in Lennon, MI, the son of Otto and Emma (Chipman) York. He was a truck driver for most of his life. He is survived by a special friend and caregiver, Jerry Kennedy; children, Michael York, Karen Kilbourne, Charlotte Rouhan, and David (Becky) York; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeff, Marie, Alecia, Kyle, Kory, Steffanie, Racheal, Ashley, and Cassondra; great grandchildren, Kiara, Daniel, Christopher, Elizabeth, Jalen, Daquan, SaMaura, AMyrah, Daniel, Adrianna, Savannah, Parker, Aryanah, Asher, Kaedon, Kameren, and Bryson; his faithful companion, dog, DeeDee. Per Skip’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time. Arrangements by Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
