Alan L. Headley

Alan Lynn Headley age 66 of Thonotosassa Fl., formerly of Cedar Springs died Friday, August 14, 2026, surrounded by his family at Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital. He was born in Greenville, MI, on July 12, 1960, the son of Leon and Virgina (Sisson) Headley. Alan was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors in nature and loved cruising the open road on his motorcycle. He loved spending quality time with his grandchildren that he loved and adored. Alan spent many summers in Cedar Springs being with his family. He always lived life to its fullest and on his own terms. Alan had an amazing work ethic spending 25 plus years in the meat industry and traveling around the country to help other facilities with his expert skills and mechanical talent. Alan had a unique way with people and machines and was loved by everyone he worked with.

Surviving are his children, Billie Jean Headley, Alan James Headley; grandchildren, Isabelle, Olivia, Isaac, Ethan; mother, Virginia Headley; siblings, Mike Headley, Linda (Mark) Jordan; nieces and nephews, Dalton, Nicolette, Aliy, Brandy, Cody, Kristina; brother-in-law, Ron Hill; several great nieces and nephews; very special friends, Shane and Jodi Phillips. He was preceded in death by his father, Leon, sisters, Karen Hill, Sue Nigro.

The family will greet friends 1:00 pm Saturday, August 29, at Life Community Church, 9206 W. Peck Rd., Greenville, MI with a Celebration of Life following at 2:00 pm. Pastor Tom Turner, officiating.
